Materials: buckram, 1920s silk fragment (dyed by Selene Ahnese), vintage cotton mesh, gelatin sequins, glass beads, felt, wool thread, silk thread, silk netting, feathers, fusible bonding web, metal clip, millinery wire, Liquid Stitch™ water based adhesive
Techniques: blocking buckram and cutting to shape, hand sewing millinery wire around shape, steaming fusible bonding web and silk over buckram shape, embroidering silk and cotton mesh (french knots, turkey work, cast on stitch, detached chain stitch), hand sewing feathers, glueing felt backing
