1C. Moroccan wedding ensemble undershirt - replacing tie
Treatment 3 of 3: Removing original worn garment tie attached to the back of the undershirt and replacing it with new twill tape ties. Back of undershirt was ironed, but wrinkles remained set in garment. Before the new ties were sewn on, the sides of the undershirt were strengthened with twill tape that was stitched to the fabric with criss cross back stitch. The new tie was then stitched to the new twill tape edges, to distribute the tension when the garment is tied across a wider area of the thin muslin back of the undershirt.
