1B. Moroccan wedding ensemble undershirt - removing corrosion from metallic embroidery
Treatment 2 of 3: Mechanically removing corrosion darkening metallic embroidery. A small amount of steel wool was twisted, folded and pinched with tweezers, then gently used to rub the darkened areas, to reveal brighter metal below that had not reacted with oxygen. Resulting dust was simultaneously vacuumed so as not to get caught in velvet pile.
